All payment processors are not created equal. iMS was founded on the principles of providing merchant services with unmatched integrity and service. Along with our transparent pricing and feature-packed program of payment processing solutions, we’ve made a conscious decision to include the following program benefits:
NO HIDDEN OR FAKE FEES
i.e. Set-up, Annual, Quarterly. All of our processing fees (Monthly Service Charge, Monthly PCI Compliance, Discount/Processing Fee, Transactions Fee, Address Verification Service) are disclosed and reviewed during the proposal and application process.
NO MONTHLY MINIMUMS
Even if a merchant doesn’t process any transaction during the month, they are only subject to the Monthly Service Charge and PCI Compliance fees. We don’t add any additional fee to satisfy a monthly minimum fee requirement.
NEXT DAY FUNDING
We don’t charge merchants an additional fee for next day funding. We advise the merchant of their cut-off time (which depends on the platform their transactions are processed on), so the funds for all card brands can be deposited the next business day.
NO TIERED PRICING
i.e. Qualified, Mid-Qualified and Non-Qualified rates. This bundles the interchange and processing fees in to one rate, which prevents the merchant from seeing what they’re paying for the processing. We only utilize Interchange Plus pricing. This means all of the interchange rates, dues and assessments are passed through to the merchant at cost. They are given a separate processing rate which allows the merchant to see exactly what they are paying for our processing service.
UNMATCHED SERVICE
Once our new merchants are boarded, set-up and trained we make a 2 and 20 day follow-up call to ensure everything is running smoothly and there are no questions regarding our program or equipment. Our merchants enjoy the benefit of having the same representative that signed them up also do the installation, training and follow-up. It gives us an opportunity to get to know each merchant and provide more insight to their payment processing needs for future solution recommendations.
WE DON’T LEASE TERMINALS
We believe it’s wrong and deceitful to lease a terminal to a merchant for 36-60 months using third party leasing agreements. We can provide the same terminal for the same monthly cost on a 6 month payment plan which can save the merchant hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Contrary to a leased terminal, with our program the merchant would own the terminal from day one.
POINT-OF-SALE (POS) AND EQUIPMENT NEUTRAL
For merchants needing a POS system we are more focused on making sure the merchant gets what they need versus what we have in stock and want to sell them. Often times merchants are told they need new equipment, when in fact in most cases the terminal can be re-programmed if it’s not outdated or locked by the previous processor.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES
Many of our merchants rely on us for resources: Website Design, Graphic Design, Printing, Video, Telephone, Internet, Benefits and Insurance. iMS has relationships with service providers in all of these categories to ensure our merchants get the same level of service and integrity as they do with our merchant services.
"NO LOOK" PROPOSAL
Processors will tell you they need to see your statement to provide a proposal. When in fact, they only want to look at what you’re currently paying to offer you the minimal cost savings for a merchant to change to their program. We ask merchants for their monthly processing and transaction volume, provide a proposal and then do a side by side analysis for cost comparison. We have many documented case studies where our monthly savings for a merchant exceed $1000. It’s very likely the merchant would have been satisfied with $500 or even $250. Our “NO LOOK” proposal assures the merchant is receiving our best price upfront.
